A colleague have me a book hedgehog the other day. I was doubly excited because a) it was cute, b) it was a great idea for a summer holiday activity and c) it gave me an idea as to how I cold recycle some of the many weeded paperbacks that are clogging up the Library.
The staff were very enthusiastic. So enthusiastic, that the number of hedgehogs increases every hour. If the children have half as much fun making these as the library staff do, then it should prove a great activity…
